“Defeat Stigma” is the tagline for a campaign which I developed for soldiers who are returning home from war with mental health consequences. The campaign focuses on the idea that our country's true enemy isn’t found on the battlefield, but rather, is a sickness that returns home with our soldiers. To deliver this point, the campaign uses statistics to illustrate the fact that many of our veterans struggle with PTSD and depression after their deployment. Visually, the campaign uses faces of soldiers in peril as a metaphor for the true pain our soldiers face through their mental health issues after war.
