DESCRIPTION
Bits & Pieces was an exhibition held at the Emily Davis Gallery which featured the dimensional and printed works of Chris Sickels. I was tasked with creating a look and feel for the title design of the show, as well as for the printed and web marketing materials. For the show title design, I created a hand-lettered piece with graphite that was later hand-painted onto the wall for the show. For the marketing pieces, I chose to let the artwork shine by allocating the show information to the white geometric shapes framing the image. The shapes as well as the typographical style were chosen as a reference to the look of Chris Sickels' works.
